[[ Prime ]] Mathematics for Physicists and Engineers: Fundamentals and Interactive Study GuideAuthor Klaus Weltner – Z55z.co

It s excellent for what it does cover differential and integral calculus, ODEs, vector calculus up to Stokes theorem, Fourier series, and basic probability But no coverage of PDEs except for a brief aside on the wave equation Nor anything on complex variables This book is for the legions of physics and engineering freshmen and sophos who want very clear explanations followed by instructive worked examples For such students I recommend the book unequivocally The authors might consider writing a sequel that covers PDEs. The book is exclent better than Boas ,Arfken,Sokolnikov Greenberg books.Hope in their next addition they will add calculus of variations. There are lots of examples here, clear explanations, and problems for you to solve yourself You could self teach from this book the undergraduate math involved in engineering, or at least review it I am using it for the latter purpose as I have seen this material once, though it was decades ago Highly recommended as a supplement for engineering students who are not happy with their assigned undergraduate math texts. This Textbook Offers An Accessible Approach To The Subject Of Mathematics Which Divides The Topic Into Smaller Units, Guiding Students Through Questions, Exercises And Problems Designed To Slowly Increase Student Confidence And Experience The Sequence Of Studies Is Individualised According To Performance And Can Be Regarded As Full Tutorial CourseThe Study Guide Satisfies Two Objectives Simultaneously Firstly It Enables Students To Make Effective Use Of The Textbook And Secondly It Offers Advice On The Improvement Of Study Skills Empirical Studies Have Shown That The Student S Competence For Using Written Information Has Improved Significantly By Using This Study Guide The New Edition Includes A New Chapter On Fourier Integrals And Fourier Transforms, Numerous Sections Had Been Updated, New Problems With Solutions Had Been Added The Interactive Study Guide Has Seen A Substantial Update
