Debbie Cassidy has done it again Every time I saw a character from Chronicles of Midnight and Chronicles of Arcana it just made me smile. Also, Micha might just be the most lovely guy ever I really liked the developments with Emory, Deacon and Lyrian here, too I don t know how she manages to pull off the magical connection trope so we ll, making it both slow and fast burn.We see Echo begin to come into her powers here, but there is still so much potential To her power.I m also always impressed Debbie Cassidy has done it again Every time I saw a character from Chronicles of Midnight and Chronicles of Arcana it just made me smile. Also, Micha might just be the most lovely guy ever I really liked the developments with Emory, Deacon and Lyrian here, too I don t know how she manages to pull off the magical connection trope so we ll, making it both slow and fast burn.We see Echo begin to come into her powers here, but there is still so much potential To her power.I m also always impressed by how she manages to cram so much action and chatacet development into what is a short book Highly recommend this series

3.75 for me Why can t I find a series that doesn t have a second book slump I don t know what in particular irked me, but I expectedfrom this one More relationship building More plot More depth I didn t get any of these, the mater fated trope is strong with this one as the cure all to emotional intimacy The book felt really unfocused with an almost absurd task set out before our mc And when did Harker turn into a villain And Willa is boring I suppose we are supposed to intuit t 3.75 for me Why can t I find a series that doesn t have a second book slump I don t know what in particular irked me, but I expectedfrom this one More relationship building More plot More depth I didn t get any of these, the mater fated trope is strong with this one as the cure all to emotional intimacy The book felt really unfocused with an almost absurd task set out before our mc And when did Harker turn into a villain And Willa is boring I suppose we are supposed to intuit that a century of war and loss has taken these good things away from them I already struggle to enjoy dystopian novels, and this one falls into that category, methinks More on the 3rd book

Debbie astounds once again I read this book in one sitting I could not put it down This is the second installment of the post apocalyptic Deadworld Chronicles and it really truly has become one of my favorite series of hers I may say that about all her series I just love the character development, world building and relationships in this series I love that we also get a glimpse of characters from other series as well I love the slow but not so slow burn romance that makes you swoon I Debbie astounds once again I read this book in one sitting I could not put it down This is the second installment of the post apocalyptic Deadworld Chronicles and it really truly has become one of my favorite series of hers I may say that about all her series I just love the character development, world building and relationships in this series I love that we also get a glimpse of characters from other series as well I love the slow but not so slow burn romance that makes you swoon I really love the fact that Echo is so upfront about her fears and insecurities but she still pushes herself This makes Echo so muchrelatable She has faced and dealt with so much pain already Echo has so many challenges ahead of her, this book picks up where we left off Echo is now the only guardian for at least the next 9 months and this puts a lot of pressure on her, but she also starts to understand that she is not alone We learnabout how she became what she now is Other secrets and revelations are made, and new characters are introduced While some of her relationships grow stronger and take some really unique turns, she also feels the loss of other relationships Most of the men in her life are absolutely swoon worthy, while others make you want to yell at them Debbie has done a fantastic job of creating such well developed characters that pull at your heart and make you feel so much Everything in this book is neatly wound together, with a great pace where the actions, romance, suspense and drama all flow so well together and makes for very enjoyable and engrossing read I highly recommend this series

I m not sure how she does it, but Debbie Cassidy has done it yet again Every time I read one of her books, I can t imagine how the next one can be better But Debbie Cassidy manages it every time It s another book I just couldn t put down and managed to read in one sitting.I admit there are some parts of the books where I just wanted to smack the boys heads together, especially Micha and Emory I loved seeing some of the characters we have already encountered in previous series as well as new I m not sure how she does it, but Debbie Cassidy has done it yet again Every time I read one of her books, I can t imagine how the next one can be better But Debbie Cassidy manages it every time It s another book I just couldn t put down and managed to read in one sitting.I admit there are some parts of the books where I just wanted to smack the boys heads together, especially Micha and Emory I loved seeing some of the characters we have already encountered in previous series as well as new characters that are brought into this series With Echo now the only guardian for the next nine months, it s interesting to see how someone just coming into these new powers deals with not only that but the heavy burden that has been put on their shoulders I do have to say though there is one bit of the book that broke my heart, and that was when Echo went to see Tris mum Echo already feels guilty for what happened to her best friend, but her mum just made it so much worse and my heart hurt for Echo At that point, I just wanted to wrap my arms around her and tell her it wasn t her fault.Honestly, I can not wait for the next book in this series I want to see what else happens with Echo, as well as the men in her life

DEAD CITY moves at a fast pace with lots of danger involved at every turn Debbie continues to do a good job of cramming a lot of things and events into a small number of pages without making you feel like things are being hurried along DEAD City was just as character driven as DEADWORLD and it was neat getting sometime with characters from other series in the same world Some I likethan others, but it s still neat getting to know their future selves One of the issues I had with DE DEAD CITY moves at a fast pace with lots of danger involved at every turn Debbie continues to do a good job of cramming a lot of things and events into a small number of pages without making you feel like things are being hurried along DEAD City was just as character driven as DEADWORLD and it was neat getting sometime with characters from other series in the same world Some I likethan others, but it s still neat getting to know their future selves One of the issues I had with DEADWORLD was that there wasn t a lot of focus on Echo s siblings DEAD CITY definitely does a better job at addressing what is happening with them. The harem has definitely been started in DEAD CITY There is a bitromance involved in DEAD CITY as well as a littletime involved with building the relationships between the harem members Still a long way to go, but it s moving along I look forward to seeing what Debbie has planned for Echo, her men and the world This book was provided free of charge from the publisher in exchange for an honest review
