This book is a masterpiece to people that wants to get started with machine learning and data science Their authors are very known and worldwide recognized on the field The book covers the basics of the models and uses real examples for the user to practice and learn In my opinion the only drawback is sometimes lack of proof of maths although most of the times there is no need for a mathematical explanation Instead the book provides insights and that is enough for an introduction.

Very clear and good introduction for those who want to learn machine learning algorithms that lack of deep statisticas background I ve found it very useful for developments at work.

Very clear explanations, always with examples and not going too in depth with Maths Ideal for me and ideal for anyone who needs to understnad the basic concepts and methods in ML Wether you use R or Python this book still valid.
